How do I make an order?

Just click on the product or collection of your choice, click the 'ADD TO CART' button to add it to your cart and this will show up in the right hand corner of the website.

  1. Click 'checkout' in the cart to start the process of payment selection.
  2. You can now leave special instructions or change the quantity you need, or add any discount codes or gift cards in the cart, before proceeding.
  3. Next click 'CHECKOUT' to be taken to the payment page.
  4. Enter your personal details and delivery address and choose a shipping option.
  5. Finally Choose a Payment Option then push "Complete Order." You will be notified via email with an attached pdf receipt.

 

How do I pay for my order? Is it safe to use my credit card?

When you checkout you are directed to Shopify secure payment gateway where you can enter your credit card or payment details safely.

 

What payment options do you offer?

The Eco Table accepts the following payment methods for online purchases:

  • All major credit cards, as shown at checkout including Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
  • Apple Pay, Google Pay, Union Pay & Shop Pay
  • Paypal

Please note that your billing address must match the address on your credit card statement and Paypal account.

Do you accept returns?

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at sales@theecotable.co.nz. Please note that returns will need to be sent to our Auckland location.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

Unfortunately we do not offer Free Returns, you will need to pay to return your order to us. Delivery charges from The Eco Table will not be reimbursed.

The customer is responsible for all costs associated with return of the product to The Eco Table.

We recommend that products returned by post be sent by courier, so you can track the delivery. The Eco table accepts no responsibility for loss or damage occurring in transit on return of any product.

How can I track my order?

Once you place your order online, you will be able to see the details of the purchase, follow its preparation, and see shipping updates in the My Account area.

NZ Delivery

To ensure you always pay a fair price for delivery you will be presented with exact shipping rates in the checkout, based upon the items you order and your delivery address. All packages are sent out of Auckland, New Zealand.

Please allow up to 7 working days for your package to arrive before contacting us. Although we strive to have them arrive in 1-3 working days with rural, public holidays, weekends, or unforeseen circumstances, this can take longer, depending on the shipping option, location and payment option you chose. We strive to complete all orders received as soon as possible.

Once the courier has picked up your order from The Eco Table, you’ll be emailed a tracking number so that you can follow the journey of your parcel. All parcels are set to ‘Authority to Leave’ which means if you’re not home at the time of delivery the courier will leave your parcel in a safe place on your property where possible. They do not require a signature. Please specify at checkout if you would like it left in a particular place on your property. We use Castle Parcels for the majority of New Zealand courier deliveries.

P.O. Boxes

We are currently unable to ship to P.O. Boxes. If a P.O. Box address is given by mistake we will contact you and this may cause a delay with the delivery of your package.

 

International Delivery:
If you live outside of New Zealand, please email sales@theecotable.co.nz with your destination (city, postcode and country) and the items you wish to purchase and we will provide you with a shipping cost, if possible.

Any taxes, duty or other fees incurred on arrival will be the responsibility of the customer. Please Note: the quoted shipping cost will not include any extra costs that may occur within your receiving country.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
