Long leather handle and short leather handle, The New Yorker market basket is hand made in Morocco. The handles are flat leather with a double row of Le Panier's signature tooling. 

These original, genuine French market baskets have been made in the same way for generations.

NOTE: This basket's handles no longer have rivets as shown. We had issues with them rusting after a time, so they are now stitched as shown in the last image. This stitching is hand -done and has proven to be more durable than the rivet.
